Silkies. Ranger Panties. CMFMs. These shorts have many names - they all refer to the same classic. Originally used in the USMC's amphibious course, then by the Rangers, and eventually the rest of the world realized why.

Lightweight, stretchy functional material, quick-drying and breathable - from Crossfit to ultra marathon. So short that they could pass for trouser pockets - and yet they have two hidden pockets: one credit card-sized, one for a key. Elastic waistband, integrated inner brief.

Every now and then, someone complains that the shorts are too short. They're right.

Ich kann die negativen Bewertungen hier überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Wer ein Problem damit hat, kurze Shorts zu tragen, sollte diese einfach nicht kaufen. Schließlich sind sie bewusst extra kurz geschnitten – genau das macht den Style dieser Shorts doch aus.

Ich bin 2,00 m groß, wiege 100 kg und trage bei normalen Sporthosen Größe XL. Diese habe ich ebenfalls in XL bestellt und sie passen perfekt. Wie bereits in der Produktbeschreibung erwähnt, haben die Shorts einen flexiblen Bund. Das bedeutet, ich hätte sogar eine Nummer kleiner bestellen können und sie hätten trotzdem problemlos gepasst – und wären dabei sogar noch etwas kürzer gewesen. Aber selbst in XL sind sie bereits kurz genug.

Auch die Qualität hat mich positiv überrascht. Der Stoff fühlt sich hochwertig an, ist angenehm auf der Haut und macht einen robusten Eindruck. Das Tragegefühl ist sehr komfortabel und die Passform sitzt einfach hervorragend – weder zu eng noch zu weit.

Für jeden, der diesen Style mag, gibt es von mir eine klare 100%ige Kaufempfehlung. Vor allem im 3-für-2-Angebot stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut.

Zum Versand kann ich ebenfalls nur Positives sagen: Gestern bestellt und heute bereits mit DHL angekommen – schneller geht es kaum.

Love them, BUT! The inner layer/liner could be more supportive. I don't think it's supportive enough to do intense exercise. I may cut it out on one pair and just use proper supportive underwear instead.

Thanks for the feedback. This is actually the first time we’ve had this point raised. The inner liner provides the level of support we intended for the Silkies, but it isn’t designed to replace dedicated supportive or compression underwear.
If you personally need significantly more support for intense exercise, we’d recommend wearing appropriate underwear underneath rather than cutting the liner out.
For context, members of our community have worn these Silkies during ultramarathons without any issues, so this ultimately seems to come down to individual preference when it comes to support.
