Silkies. Ranger Panties. CMFMs. These shorts have many names — they all refer to the same classic. Originally used in the USMC amphibious course, then by Rangers, and eventually the rest of the world realized why.

Lightweight, stretchy functional material, quick-drying and breathable — from CrossFit to ultra-marathons. So short they could pass for pockets — and yet they contain two hidden pockets: one credit card-sized, one for a key. Elastic waistband, integrated inner brief.

Every now and then, someone complains that the shorts are too short. They're right.

For someone 1.78m (5'10") tall with a jeans size 32/32, we recommend size M for the classic Silkies fit. For a slightly looser fit: size L. The waistband also accommodates a 34 or 36.
