Silkies. Ranger Panties. CMFMs. These shorts have many names — all referring to the same classic. Originally used in the USMC amphibious course, then by Rangers, and eventually, the rest of the world realized why.

Lightweight, stretchy functional material, quick-drying and breathable — from CrossFit to ultra marathon. So short they could pass for pockets — and yet they contain two hidden pockets: one credit card-sized, one for a key. Elastic waistband, integrated inner brief.

Every now and then someone complains the shorts are too short. They're right.

At 1.78 m with jeans size 32/32, we recommend size M for the classic Silkies fit. For a slightly looser fit: size L. The waistband also fits a 34 or 36.
