Our coins are meant to be worn. Not on a shelf, not in a drawer, but with you. And that's exactly what the Coin Shroud is for.

Crafted from genuine leather in a classic brown tone. We deliberately chose leather because it's a living material. It absorbs marks, softens, darkens, and develops its own patina over time. Every case changes. None stays the same as it was on day one. It ages with you—just like everything else ages.

Our standard round coins fit perfectly inside. The shroud protects them from abrasion, unnecessary scratches, and from being carelessly tossed around in pockets or backpacks. Anyone who actually carries a coin quickly realizes that bare metal is unforgiving. Meaning deserves protection.

The front of the shroud bears our old German COVEN-C logo.

On the back it says "For the ferryman".

We chose these words because they remind us of what ultimately remains. Every path eventually leads to the final crossing. Everyone carries something with them that is more than just metal. The coin is a symbol – and the shroud preserves it until one day it is laid down.

The contrasting stitching leaves a visible mark through the leather. Not a decorative effect, but a deliberate marker for that certain "spice".

The Coin Shroud is not an accessory in the classic sense.

It is intended for those who actually carry their coin with them and want it to not just remain metal over the years, but to become part of their own story, and for even what seems small to have its place – until the final crossing.

Size: approx. 6.1 cm x 5.5 cm - round coins with a diameter of 4.5 cm fit perfectly into our Coin Shroud.

The coin shroud is made of smooth, soft natural leather. Each piece will develop its own unique character over time.
Leather is a natural product. It can darken, soften, and develop a unique patina through use.
If the leather appears dry, it can be sparingly treated with a neutral leather balm or leather wax and a soft cloth. This will maintain its suppleness and protect the surface.
Avoid excessive moisture. If the leather gets wet, let it dry at room temperature. Do not treat with heat.
Or let time leave its mark.
Use changes the leather. That's exactly what it's made for.
