Note on the dimensions / waistband: "Width" of the waistband when the board shorts are lying flat, so for comparison you measure the "width" at the waistband of your pants and compare this with the values in the table. Measures in cm.

Comparison size: 1.78 m tall with a regular "jeans size" 32/32 wearing a size L. There is still enough flexibility for a 34 or 36, for example, because the waistband is flexible.
