Silkies. Ranger Panties. CMFMs. These shorts have many names — all referring to the same classic. Originally used in the USMC amphibious course, then by the Rangers, and eventually the rest of the world realized why.

Lightweight, stretchy functional fabric, quick-drying and breathable — from CrossFit to ultra-marathon. So short they could pass for pockets — and yet they contain two hidden pockets: one credit card-sized, one for a key. Elastic waistband, integrated inner brief.

Occasionally, someone complains the shorts are too short. They're right.

At 1.78m with jeans size 32/32, we recommend size M for the classic Silkies fit. For a slightly looser fit: size L. The waistband also accommodates a 34 or 36.
