ISCARIOT – HALF ZIPPER – LOOP SLEEVE

For thirty pieces of silver, Judas Iscariot betrayed a man who could turn water into wine. Economically speaking not a particularly good trade, but his name is still known today.

Judas was one of the Twelve, sat at the same table and broke the same bread. The betrayal did not have to be carried in from outside. It had been living in the house for a long time.

At first glance our Iscariot makes a respectable impression too. 380 g/m² heavyweight fleece you feel when you lift it, a generous oversize cut with dropped shoulders, a half-zip and a high collar that, together with the adjustable hem, handle the rest when it turns unpleasant outside. An honest piece of clothing, as long as you leave it at the surface.

Behind the kangaroo pocket lies a second layer. The two side zips lead into the pocket in the ordinary way. On its back, towards the body, sits a further continuous zip with two sliders that opens from the left as well as from the right. Reach through and you are at the waistband, and with it at an IWB holster worn there or any other concealed equipment. From the outside, nothing gives it away.

An underhand move, admittedly. With a name like that you might have seen it coming.

LOOP SLEEVES

For the patch panels on both sleeves we deliberately avoided ordinary, coarse loop tape. Instead we use a fine soft-loop velour with a dense, almost velvety surface that lies smoothly against the fabric and barely adds bulk. Even without a patch the panels blend quietly into the whole. A detail hardly anyone but you will notice.
