The COVEN Trucker Jacket – The Wormshell in the Black Loom variant is not a finished product.
It comes raw.

For many, the Wormshell is more than just a jacket. Many of you have called it one of our best products. Perhaps because it didn't try to be more than it is: a heavy, honest piece that gets better with every wear.

So we brought it into a form that lives up to this claim. Not as a re-release and not as a replacement for the regular Wormshell, but as a limited Black Loom Edition made of unwashed Japanese selvedge denim. A fabric with depth, tension, and character that doesn't reveal everything at first glance but works over time - creating a companion that breaks, works, ages, and stays with you.

Made from unwashed selvedge denim from Japan – a fabric that is hardly produced in this way anymore today. Slowly woven, with tension in the material, not built for mass, but for durability and development. That's exactly what you feel at first.

The jacket is stiff when you put it on. Not figuratively, but literally. It doesn't give in, it doesn't adapt immediately. And that's the point.

Over time, it begins to change. Not uniformly, not controlled, but precisely where you use it. On the elbows, on the shoulders, on the pockets, on the collar. Everywhere where movement, pressure, and repetition occur. The fabric reacts to it, stores it, and forms contrasts that are not planned but emerge.

If you always carry the same item in the same pocket, it will show. If you wear it every day, it will show. If you challenge it, it will respond.

The result is not a "worn-looking" jacket.
It's one that has adapted to you.

The denim remains raw on the outside and develops depth and structure over time. Inside, details in Tigerstripe Black are subtle but deliberately placed. Custom buttons with an embossed COVEN symbol, a flag label on the chest, two inner pockets, and an inner patch fleece for your badges. The embossed leather patch sits on the hip: Death calls – we answer.

Every Wormshell changes differently.
Not because we vary it – but because you do.

Each jacket also comes with an exclusive patch that is not available separately. It belongs exactly to this piece.

PART I — BREAK-IN

How long?
We recommend 6 months of daily wear before the first wash.
That’s a long time – it will pay off.

What kind of fabric is this?
This Wormshell is made from Japanese selvedge denim.
Today, it is rarely produced in this way.
The process is slow, elaborate, and not designed for industrial mass production.
That's precisely why this jacket exists.

How does the break-in happen?
The fabric is unwashed and deliberately stiff.
It will break where you use it:
Elbows, shoulders, pockets, collar.
Over time, it will become more supple.
Let's be clear: don't baby the fabric.
The more you challenge it, the more unique it will become.
And the more visibly it will reward you for it.
Some wearers are very deliberate:
They always carry the same items in their pockets –
keys, lighter, notebook –
to create specific impressions.
The fabric remembers this.
Result:
A jacket that belongs only to you.

PART II — WASHING (SETTING & STOPPING)
When to wash?
Stains, dust, or signs of wear are not reasons to wash.
Wash only when absolutely necessary.
Important to understand:
As soon as the jacket is washed, its condition is set.
The break-in process ends.
From this point on, the fabric will no longer break in as before.
No new strong contrasts.
No further imprinting from use.

How to wash?
Turn jacket inside out
Cold water
Delicate cycle or hand wash
Mild detergent
No fabric softener
No dryer

After washing:
Reshape.
Air dry.
Then continue wearing –
with the knowledge that its character is now set.
This is not a finished product.
You complete it.
